Our Community
Projects / Groups

As Occupational Therapists we are passionate about giving back to the community. Moreover, we believe that all of our clients deserve purposeful lives with meaningful activities. We understand some of the community barriers faced by persons with a disability, and as such we strive to overcome them and improve access and interaction with community resources.

The Friday Musketeers

Bottle Top and Bread Tag Collections

This is a community initiative where our team members, colleagues and clients are involved in collecting as many bottle tops and bread tags which will be delivered to San Salvador Homes. The collected tops and tags are organised as part of a work task in their Sally's Workshop (a sheltered workshop for persons with intellectual impairment), and later given to The Star Foundation where the tags will be recycled with the aim of collecting enough money to buy wheelchairs for the under privileged. Contact us if you would like to be part of this initiative. Read more about this initiative here: Powerful Partnerships Change Lives Through Collecting Tops and Tags

Knit / Crochet a Blanket Square for the Needy

Whilst clients, patients and their family members wait for the sessions in our waiting room, we encourage them to knit or crochet a square to be contributed towards blankets which are donated to the needy.
